Call for International Council Meeting 2013
Association for World Educations International Council Meeting 2013 and the organisational development seminar will take place in Denmark from 24. October to 29. October 2013.
According to the constitution §8 the council meeting shall:
a) The International Council shall determine the policy of the Association for World Education.
b) The International Council shall approve or disapprove applications from national or regional Chapters and from independent members.
c) The International Council shall elect AWE-delegates to the various United Nations organizations with which the AWE has consultative status.
d) The International Council shall elect the President of the Association along with at least four Vice-Presidents and a Treasurer. For candidates to be eligible for elections, they have to be members of AWE and it is not necessary for interested candidates to be members of the International Council.
e) Minutes of the International Council meetings shall be sent to all Chapters.
f) Every year the Chapters will submit a report to the International Council.
g) The Council will determine its own order of proceedings.

AWE Institutional Members can send representatives
Elected Vice-presidents
Elected UN-representatives
Individual Members
Special invited guests
Final agenda and meeting details will be send out before 24th July 2013.
The Council Meeting will be arranged in corporation with AWE Denmark.
AWE Denmark will assist participants with Visa-application.
